Scott is responsible for DEM's IT and technical systems management, as well as the development and maintenance of the business systems that underpin DEM's quality of work and uniform standards. He holds overall responsibility for DEM’s operations and IT systems, including cyber security, software and hardware management, and BIM and CADD platforms. He also oversees the company’s quality assurance, WHS and environmental management systems.
Scott has been with DEM since 1988 and brings over 40 years' experience in the architectural and construction industry across Australia and New Zealand. Over this time, he has been involved at all levels of project delivery, contributing to a broad portfolio that includes large-scale residential developments, schools, hotels, hospitals, data centres, infrastructure projects and commercial office buildings. Scott's extensive knowledge of architectural design and construction documentation informs the rigorous technical systems he leads today.
He has developed and implemented DEM's CADD procedures and strategies, BIM system, and all ICT systems across the DEM Group, including hardware, software and training programmes. His responsibilities also extend to human resources management, certifications, audits, compliance, and supplier and external service provider management.
