A world-leading facility, designed to meet the needs and requirements of people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and other related neurological diseases, their families and friends and the professional and support teams dedicated to providing targeted diagnosis, treatments and research.
In addition to providing a comprehensive range of facilities for people living with MS, the new MS Plus Lidcombe Wellbeing Centre incorporates Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) for visitors and their families who are unable to travel regularly to the centre for treatment and therapy.
Designed by DEM with accessibility, functionality and psychological wellbeing as key principles, the SDA includes:

Twenty two-bedroom units with universal access; each accommodating a double bed configuration

Fully accessible en suites for each main bedroom and accessible bathrooms accessed from main living areas.

Kitchen and laundry facilities.

External balconies accessed from the living space of each unit.

Communal circulation corridors with a minimum width of 2.5m.

Scooter parking located adjacent to the lift on the ground floor lobby.

Undercover car parking in close proximity to the ground floor lobby with universal access.

Safe and legible circulation between the SDA units and the Wellbeing Centre.
