The design brief from eHealth NSW outlined consolidation of their office spaces to a single location and new branding to ehealth  standards that would form the backbone of design of future interior spaces. The scope of work included six floors of office refurbishment and fitout, three kitchens, one executive floor inclusive of a reception space and meeting rooms, three comms rooms, a collaboration and ideation hub as well as upgrades to the base build bathroom amenities.

Ideation Hub | Precinct | Commons

The design concept revolved around a central spine, which was further divided into three activity zones namely the ‘ideation hub’—which was conducive to idea making, the ‘precinct’— the collaboration area and the ‘commons’ - for individual focused work. Modular furniture, ceiling and floor finishes were used to successfully demarcate these zones. 

 

Construction was completed in February 2021. The project  has set a space and design standard for a future NSW eHealth Hybrid workplace model of this nature throughout NSW.
