Circa transformed a former brickworks site into an inspiring mixed use urban environment incorporating commercial and retail uses as well as serviced apartments and a retirement village. The 28.8 hectare centre  complements and enhances the facilities of Norwest Business Park and the working and living environment of surrounding residential areas.

DEM developed the master plan concept and established principles for the open space network of Circa. The development is focussed on a central plaza and commercial core activated by small scale retail, cafes, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues. Additional amenities include cinemas, a function/conference centre, recreation facilities, gymnasium, child care centre and medical facilities. A surrounding commercial precinct comprises office buildings, technology and research centres and health facilities. These uses are supported by a public realm that provides a network of pedestrian linkages, streets and civic open spaces as well as a high quality parkland setting.
