DEM was commissioned to prepare a rezoning and concept plan for the former UTS Ku-ring-gai campus which transformed the site into a new residential community – Crimson Hill. DEM also prepared Urban Design Guidelines for the site which established principles, objectives and controls for future housing to ensure delivery of high quality built form and landscape outcomes.

DEM was also responsible for the design and documentation of a new Community Centre - the Blair Wark VC Community Centre - adjacent to the campus soccer field. The Centre provides facilities for neighbouring residents as well as the wider community.
