Nando Nicotra

Nando is a registered architect with over 40 years' experience across a broad range of sectors. A strategic thinker with an extensive industry network, he is known for the quality of his client relationships and his ability to advise across both business and the profession. His career has spanned senior leadership roles at Cameron Chisholm & Nicol, GHD and Jacobs Group, where he has led integrated multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of complex design and infrastructure projects.

Nando's project experience encompasses transportation and infrastructure, commercial, retail, residential, educational, master planning, health, and interior fit outs. Notable work includes the Concept Design and Tender Documents for the Suburban Rail Loop in Melbourne, delivered as part of the AJM team for SRLA.

Deeply committed to the profession, Nando has served as an AACA Examiner and NSW Convenor with the Board of Architects, and contributes to architectural education as a Guest Design Tutor at the University of Sydney, UNSW and UTS. He is an active mentor through the FutureNet and NAWIC programmes, and has led projects achieving 5 Star Green Star and 5 Star NABERS accreditation.
