The design for this dwelling required alteration and addition to an existing house. The client’s brief was to utilise as much of the single storey dwelling as possible, in order to minimise costs. The floor plan of the home was reconfigured and a second storey created with an additional lounge, outdoor entertaining area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and master suite. The client also stipulated that they wanted to enjoy the benefits of indoor/outdoor living with beautifully landscaped gardens. The resultant garden was voted a residential award winning garden in the LNA Master Landscapers Association awards.
