The design for this dwelling required alteration and addition to an existing house. The client’s brief was to utilise as much of the single-storey dwelling as possible, in order to minimise costs. The floor plan of the home was reconfigured and a second storey created with an additional lounge, outdoor entertaining area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and master suite. The client also stipulated that they wanted to enjoy the benefits of indoor/outdoor living with beautifully landscaped gardens. The resultant garden was voted a residential award winning garden in the LNA Master Landscapers Association awards.
