Quality Assurance
Full certification to: AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015
It is DEM policy to maintain effective Project Standards Management (QA) fully supported by management and staff. DEM Project Standards Management documentation and implementation achieved full certification in 1999 and is currently certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2015. At all times the goal of our service delivery is to ensure that project risk is minimised by ensuring the proposed solutions are regularly tested against sound criteria.
Professional Insurance
DEM maintains both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Professional indemnity insurance cover and public liability insurance cover are both up to
$20 million for any claim. Further information can be provided upon request.
DEM also maintains statutory Workers Compensation Insurance.
Occupational Health and Safety
Verification to: NSW Department of Commerce OHS Management Systems Guidelines
DEM has an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that applies to DEM staff, visitors and safety in design. This management system is documented to AS/ANZS 4801:2001 and is verified to meet the requirements of the NSW Department of Commerce Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
Environmental Policy
DEM is committed to creating better environments, by making the principles of environmental management and environmentally sustainable design an inherent part of our professional responsibility. In support of this commitment, our environmental management system is documented to AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 and is verified to NSW Government Environmental Management Systems Guidelines.
Transport for NSW Technically Assured Organisation
DEM is a designated TfNSW Technically Assured Organisation providing expertise in Buildings Architecture, Site Master Planning, Urban Design and Landscape Architecture.
