Panyu Technology and Research Park Guangzhou China

The Environmental Technology and Research Park, located within the Pearl River Delta corridor of greater Guangzhou City, was designed by DEM as a new ‘smart’ community incorporating scientific development, production, commerce, office space and residential areas. The focal heart of the Park took on the form of a Luntan, the Chinese equivalent of an Italian forum. Here the functions of the Park were brought together in a commercial and retail setting to create a new town centre.

The first project for the park was the Science and Technology Building for Tian An, which was designed by DEM
