Henry Deane Place Central Station Sydney

DEM's commission to fitout Level 2 of the new Henry Deane Place building at Central Railway Sydney brought together various divisions of the State Rail Authority's rail infrastructure group from CBD locations to customised worksettings operating extensively outside normal business hours.

The design included the utilisation of perimeter natural light, panoramic exposure to the Railway Square precinct and meeting strict security needs between specific groups and visitors. Complementing the open plan worksettings are staff multi-use and training facilities.

Budget, programme and design criteria were achieved by utilising the State Government Contract Suppliers schedules, whilst still achieving creative interiors.

The installation at Henry Deane Place has been acclaimed as a benchmark of the SRA's tenancy facilities for the future.
